So for those of us too cheap to pay for Bloomberg but greedy enough to look for a better options, these alternatives are...

German and Japanese gov. bonds. But the article notes this is mostly for foreign investors trying to hedge against movements in the dollar.

Interesting, but according to Google the strongest bonds are covalent bonds. Isn't that ionic?
