All women are women whether born cis or born trans we're all women. That's recognised in international law, law, and science, and lived reality.

Attempts to bring in self-id, improve rights and healthcare of women and girls born trans, and majority support comes from cis women especially lesbians.

Sex is biological but gender can be anything from very masculine to very feminine. I really do worry for everyone from any minority in the USA now. It goes along with their attacks on women being able to have control over their own bodies and abortion rights!

I suspect that was intentional - to emphasise that "life starts at conception" to add to the "case" for a federal criminalisation of all abortion.

The stuff about big cells and little cells is hogwash. People exist who don't produce gametes at all. And intersex people also exist.

I agree, it is oversimplified. As your article says, it doesn't account for people with DSDs but I think saying we all started female is confusing. Perhaps it's more accurate
to say, from outward appearances, we all started undefinable and free of gender!

Being a pedant. At fertilisation the answer is "nil" the revelant organs don't start to develop until 2 months or so if I remember correctly
