“Our side concocted the ‘bathroom safety’ male predator argument as a way to avoid an uncomfortable battle over LGBT ideology, and still fire up people’s emotions.”

This was from 2018, they were bragging about how they manufacturing a moral panic.

So they expect me to believe a rapist will go through the effort of saying they are transwoman to get in there but not the effort of saying they are a transman being forced "back into" the women's bathroom by laws?

A friendly tip (seems like you mean well): it's "trans woman" and "trans man", not "transwoman" and "transman". "Transman" implies that the person is not really a man but something else entirely. Whereas "trans man" communicates that they are a man and "trans" is simply a descriptor or sub-category.

'restrooms' were separated by class as soon as they existed, which was before indoor plumbing. wealthy women needed a place to 'refresh' while they were out shopping

toilets were also a big part of the fight for (white) women's rights (and prohibition in the US)

the idea you can 'catch something' from a toilet seat? a thing only girls and women seemingly have to worry about? drs needed a reason besides the obvious as to why parents and their children had the same STIs

The correct answer to "what if a trans person assaults me in the bathroom??" is "sexual assault is already a crime"

Or "what if I see a trans person's genitalia in the bathroom?" -> "idk, why were you looking?"
