Eh, Facebook is already banned in China, as are twitter and, I suspect, bluesky. And the EU is restricting what US companies can do there.
That's the first thing I thought of when people talked about tiktok.
I understand a lot of people use it for fundraising and they pay for their general content but I remember a big issue with the election was everybody getting sucked into the right wing vortex on tiktok.
