Hi all,
I sent out my latest newsletter earlier today, providing some final words on Europe's self-imposed missile conundrum.
It's obvious that Russia is preparing for the next missile war. Are we?

‼️ That's the main thing to consider in creating missile defense.
📌 Next, is that Russia is acting as a criminal - so no waiting for an attack!
✊ Europe must prevent this criminality.
Also we need to replace US MLRS with an EUr solution, preferably with UK.
This means Russia is already preparing for other warfighting contingencies, including a broader NATO-Russia confrontation.

This is an inherently losing bet. But even if it were feasible, the way it is being pursued in terms of production and procurement numbers is wholly inadequate.

The fact that European long-range strike production barely reaches 100 units per year amounts to a case of near-criminal neglect.

Defensive measures aren't enough.
Deterrence rarely comes from low production and empty storages... (wonder why ;-) )
Ty FH!
Is it a budget issue, or the cost/difficulty of restarting production?
Or unwillingness to order more of older system, and they wait for new to become available?
But this is the whole point of the propaganda, everything is doubted and the truth cannot be seen anymore.
It is a scarily effective tactic that costs a fraction of the price of countering it.
