Oh I'm not encouraging pacifism, just that taking up arms isn't going to be easy. Everyone makes it sound like their little home arsenal can do jackshit to a tank or an Apache. If that's understood then my comment is merely advice to keep in mind while people do whatever they do.
Fair enough. I would encourage someone to get a 50 Beauwolf AR upper that they can slap on their lower as needed. Those can punch through an engine. Military folks that follow an order to fire on Americans (50%) deserve to be fired on themselves.
A group of armed citizens helping representatives storm an illegal lock out… I actually don’t give a fuck what the military thinks about it. They can fire on their own citizens but it’s gonna come at a cost.
Sure, they can defy the constitution, but not change it. It takes 38 states to each ratify a change.
The ERA hasn't been filed simply because there's contention over a deadline from the 80s. It was introduced in 1923, reintroduced every single year since 1982. It has been ratified since 2020.
That assumes that the people in charge are going to operate in good faith. Which we know they're not going to do. Don't expect to be shielded by traditions. They don't care.
Although it's worth pointing out, the only thing that makes government mean anything is the people choosing to stick to the social contract, some of which is written in law.
When it is broken, there's no obligation for anyone to obey, should enough of us recognize the loss.
That's what all these stupid little fuckarounds are doing. they're trying to provoke a reaction they can use to clamp down. Once they've pissed off enough people and any kind of uprising occurs, it'll be martial law and then the real shit starts to happen. This is just the preamble to the real show
