32-bit consoles cameo in the respective ports of the same game - how meta!
Nekketsu Oyako, a colourful Technosoft brawler, was a launch game for the PS1, developed in part to demonstrate it could handle 2D games too. A Sega Saturn port followed the Summer of '95 - with lots of lovely dithering!

Wish it had a US release....
Also wish it was cheap to buy now 🥲
Gives me a gunstar heros vibe 👀. This needs a rerelease too!
WHY IS THE 2ND PRICE THAT HIGH!?
I hate the 2nd hand market, I just wanna play fun games 😭
Of the two versions, the Sega Saturn one is my fave. I'm a dithering junkie, so all that cross-hatch transluency for water and smoke, augh, give it to me.
IDK if the 3d era pokemon games kept at the home console in the bedroom tradition.
In the backyard, shaving the old plies.
Feeling so strong (strong!), something went wrong (wrong!).
Straight into my finger, what a stinger, it was so long.
