i believe the idea is that dunking on someone for a stupid question instead of answering the question has a lot of overlap with dunking on autistic people for taking things literally/not being able to "read the room" and thus asking "stupid" questions.

the thing is though that the average autistic person seeing the original tweet would go "is this meant to be serious or is it ironic?" because they know their own limitations, so when you call it ableist to make fun of someone for going nuclear option on a joke, you're just admitting you're an ass
