Joel caught her fist with his free arm, then yanked her closer to bang his head against her's. That move worked really well against people with softer heads, but he'd be interested to see how it'd work against her.

she let out a sharp yelp as she was tugged forward. Banging his head against the mystical helmet on her head though? Interesting tactic. Probably would hurt both of them equally.

she shook her head, trying to regain composure as she realized how close she was now. She took advantage of the situation and wrapped her legs around him tightly as she tried to hold him in place.

Once he regained composure, she slammed her head right back into his... the first thing he thought was: 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘰𝘯. The movie had basically just hurt them both. Twice.
Ivette seemed aim her headbutt specifically at his face, mostly using the forehead to strike. She realized her forehead was possibly more durable than his dumb face. She may be disoriented from another hit, but it would hurt him a lot more than it would hurt her. Regardless, a questionable choice
