Let’s all get into the aesthetics of 70s era Agatha Christie movies, carnations in the lapel, black veils, flocked wallpaper, too much blow drying, cameos by people popular in the 1950s

Yeah look up who shot that thing. I know Murder gets all the hype but Finny's Poriot is very annoying. And the claustrophobic setting makes for a drab looking more of a technical exercise of a movie than a beautiful fun time like Death.
The 1980s Doing The 1940s is a stronger aesthetic but soft spot for the 70s doing the 20s micro trend there with these movies and like Paper Moon and the Redford Gatsby
Every 70s period piece had to have at least one anachronistic 70s hairstyle at some point in the picture, it was like a union regulation, and fun to spot
Rewatched that recently and I think it's time people dress that way in the day to day. That polka dot number on Maggie Smith would make any Monday worth a trip to the in-person office.
my fam almost watched evil under the sun last night but we ended up watching death on the nile (with emily blunt??). still need to see evil under the sun tho!
