Severance: I have a theory about "The Board"

Natalie wears the headset and they pull the silent speaker out for The Board because it would otherwise be disconcerting to talk to Natalie, individually, AS The Board.

i.e. Natalie contains the collective sentience of "The Board", probs dead Eagans.
