I do always enjoy watching two artists meet that are fans of each other's work. On the down side, it's usually,

it’s true omg and then it’s avoiding talking about art or bitching about something, then occasional waves at a con, then getting drunk together, gushing over each other, then “we need to hang out/talk more” and then we get home and talk maybe 4 times and then we hide in our anxiety corners.

Knowing my fellow artists also hide in their anxiety corners makes me feel so connected. Mine has blankets an stuffed animals and tons of screens to look at lol
