So to clarify, I think he sees fascists in power and if they stay in power, then being on their team is the only way to continue his career. But the right is already heavily propagandized to hate California so even if he just trying to seduce hateful people, it won't work - he's a poison pill.

Maybe… I’m not sure… I’ve never been sure about him… but he is using CA wealth to fight this regime and maybe he is really trying to make a bridge.. we will have to see.. I can’t write him off entirely .. he has done a lot and did some really great things for CA…

I'm just pulling vibes out of my ass, otherwise I'd cite. But I agree that we need to open a hand to the MAGA voters because they're still American. They're getting fucked by the same people that we are and that's why the culture war has been cranked up, because United we really fuckin' do Stand.

Exactly… I’ve been working on my brother… not MAGA but two steps adjacent… and he’s coming around.. he got all caught up as a veteran and really wanting a better country in the patriotic zeal and not liberal.. so there are so many like that. Conservatives but not misogynistic or Nazified
