I discovered confidence. A long time ago I would have NEVER worn a dress this tight where it doesn’t fit.That is okay. I have come to terms that my body won’t always fit into all clothes and look good. My body is unique, is different to others, but it is still beautiful and I’m so happy it’s healthy

I discovered how not to give a fuck and to embrace the madness. There were several people who drove past when we were taking these, and probably thought I was crazy, but I have learnt how to not be embarrassed, because look at what came out of it!

I discovered how to appreciate where we are. This is literally on my doorstep, and having the opportunity to embrace it like this is amazing. I fully acknowledge that Mi'kma'ki is stolen land from people who were forced to give it up, but I am determined to care for it and also enjoy it.
