My wish is for a “mute this keyword, but *only* for this one person” setting. Either that, or a “I only want to see this person’s posts when they post about [specific subject that I’m following them for] and not when they’re writing single-word responses while watching college sports” setting.

I am aware, but that isn’t quite what I want. It’s to turn off reposts on a per user basis. I generally want reposts, but a few people over do it, and I’d like to still see their original posts and not have to unfollow them

I stg there was a glorious sliver of time where Facebook was still mostly chronological, mostly showed you your friends' shit, and had a "see less from this person" option. The last brief stepping stone before they went full chronological though I think.

This is exactly what I want. I do not want a goddamn algorithm to decide what to feed me, but nor do I want to see all 15 posts someone decided to make all in a row.
