This has to be one of the weirdest articles I've read in a while. It opens by chastising far left Democrats for not focusing on "bread and butter" issues and then chastises @aoc.bsky.social for campaigning on universal healthcare.

Yeah, I agree that that's the main point here. In the last 50 years, their response to popular pressure has been to chase the Republicans ever further to the right, rather than to support anything remotely left-wing. That article is more an apologia for a pre-decided policy than a coherent strategy.
