i think as always people are way too negative about a movie adaptation before it even comes out lol like even if its bad, its orv! it being bad will also be part of the story!!

a movie being bad will never impact how good the book is.... orv is a story made for the written word but i think every adaptation will have its own little unique story to tell.... honestly i hope they Do make changes, i just want them to be interesting ones!
