I have a bit an oddball OC from when I was in High School (long ago) that was a 'Skin Technician' in that he would effectively take over the bodies of other beings/creatures by first removing their brain (head) and grafting his body onto theirs. He's a metallic sphere.

Personality could be described as calm before storm, slow, pondering. They're now old and dying spirit but used to be ferocious as young, drowning many passerby. Their kettle's bottom is full of bones
