They're definitely on the premium end. I believe the price is kinda expected given these are neither white label nor large scale. But yeah, not cheap.

Funny enough I found a (minor) but in their app last night, I'll try to report it tonight if I have time.

(if you transfer the app to a new phone, Android preserves the granted permissions. But the "connect buds" flow has a step that's "allow local device permission"... and it gets stuck if it has said permission*already*.

Workaround: revoke the permission manually and the flow runs as expected.)

I'm currently thinking about bone conduction headsets that are 1/3 of the price. (Primary use case - listening to PBS Space Time while falling asleep)

So I'd suggest looking into something like the Anker sleep earbuds I linked over there — most of the bone-conducting earphones have a hard bridge on the back, which make them useless when laying down.

(I have a pair of Shokz Aeropex — love them when I'm going out into town.)
