When practically everyone is getting the obvious answer right, the small minority left defying what they clearly see either 1) think tiny discrepancies validate the wrong answer, 2) think intentionally calling people the wrong thing is righteous, 3) just want to hurt one of us.

I will never understand people who find joy in hurting others... How sad and empty your life has to be for this to be your source of joy?
Authoritarianism exploits this by selling people a Chosen Ones mythos with a side order of "suffering occurs because some people don't know their place and won't sit down, shut up, and let their betters rule them."
For example, even though I have my opinions about certain clothes I will never say mean things to someone who decides wear those.
The fifth is what value is placed on harming others.
I find harm to be a last resort; when good people do a bad thing, it is still a bad thing.
The right says Good people doing it makes it a Good act, period.
