By "Universal" you mean it can change anything in the entire Universe? Or just the cable channels? If you take it into the ghetto just point it & click like Peter Sellars in "Being There" for whatever needs to change.
In the 50s and 60s we sat on the floor in front of the TV so we didn’t have to do anything but lunge forward to get on our knees to change channels -of course we only had 3 or 4 channels back then .
