If anyone would like to know why this works from a neurophysiological standpoint...I'd be happy to share otherwise I don't want to be a "reply guy" (whatever the hell that is)
newborns experience synaptic "thunderstorms" as their neuronal wiring undergoes frenetic activity to "put together" a cognitive system for dealing with a nearly unlimited deluge of sensory input in contrast to the relative calm of the womb.
Motion & tones that deafen those inputs are "calming".
But the cerebellum is undergoing massive transformations that would equate to modifying your cognitive experience every minute such that it would be akin to seeing the sky become a new color every few minutes for a fully cognizant brain...I could go on.
This is so fascinating! I always thought bells/chimes induced the brain waves to synchronize, like a reset. (Not a neuropsychologist here, but really interested in this stuff.)
IF ONLY we had known‼️⚠️
My grandmother used to joke about how she’d load up the car and she and granddad would drive my mother around. My mother was first born, oldest sibling 1929. She and Dad drove us around in a 1955 Pontiac. We drove our kids around in Toyota Celica.Lol could have been so simple
