that looks like a great program.. wow i wish they did that in all schools.. children get to feel safe around dogs. and read. the dogs get child interaction… whoever came up with this deserves a raise

Dogs won't critique the readers and the readers are excellent company for the dogs.

My (adult, and just fine with reading) child does this each week with animals in our local shelter. It’s a rewarding experience for person and pups alike!
If I had my way and had many billions of dollars I would buy a giant ranchland where all the homeless dogs and cats of the world would find their forever home's with a loving staff of animal lovers to care for them all.
