I highly recommend the documentary, “My Octopus Teacher.” It’s a beautiful story between a man who visits a baby octopus every day for a year. Tissues required.
Fish are friends too. I've been known to pet a fish or two. Chances are this is a divemaster, that dives that site frequently, and that eel probably knows him well. Otherwise, they tend to get a little bitey.
Members of the fish kingdom are surprisingly emotional but we don’t think they can feel pain or have them because they cant scream underwater when in pain.
It’s a moray eel. Wild eels are unpredictable and very dangerous but also very skittish and hide from humans. This one seem to be accustomed to humans, some divers feed them to the point they don’t feel threatened and I have seen them eating from the divers hand. Don’t try that at home.
Comments
Sharks, morays, seals.
The bad news is that they burrow inside their victims and eat them from the inside out.
The good news is that sometimes they just want your liver.
(Moray eels like a a nice bit of liver too. Probably)
I'll refrain from the obvious joke; just a couple of notes to evoke... 🎶🎶🎶
Disclaimer: DO NOT try to pet the wild creatures!!!
(How are people still in existence!?!?!?)
😂🤣😂🤣😂
