About twice the size of the image in the books. Gouache was the main medium.

I just had a guest stay in my shepherds hut. She is a delightful young woman who has just finished her finals to be a doctor. When I asked which area she said : A & E. So brave as that is IMHO the most urgent, ceaseless, unpleasant area of any hospital.

Such a serene picture, I’d feel safe with that nurse. Sadly, those smart uniforms had been abandoned by my time and replaced with ghastly polyester monstrosities.
