Ya know, Windwaker Ganon wasn't necessarily "evil", ignoring that he's just older OoT Ganon. "I coveted that wind, I suppose." I'm not saying what he did was right, but I am saying it's plausible to feel bad a little for at least that era of that incarnation. Bro just went about it the wrong way.
I LOOOOVE WW Ganondorf so much. I think a redemption arc or SOMETHING could be a good way to end the series in the future, like ending the cycle of hate
I don't think that cycle will end anytime soon. Long as there's Evil, Hylia will have her champion. And since Evil is destined to resurrect forever basically, there will always be opposition. Perhaps if we ever get a "What If" Zelda game
Honestly I love the idea of an alternative style game that has link/zelda as the antagonists. Hyrule warriors kind of touched on it with the alternate scenarios in the story/adventure modes, but a whole game just for him would be so cool :D
Isnβt the lore that Ganon is the reincarnated embodiment of evil? A redemption arc would be a WILD concept for a game but Iβm for some mix up in the series!
