Thanks for the informative writeup. As one who has owned every Apple product in the last 20 years, I still haven't dipped into the Vision Pro so it's nice to get updates from people who have. (PS, it looks like the last two recommended accessories don't have a link on them.)

Did an early demo at the store, it was cool, but not $3,500 cool. Bought a Meta Quest 3s for a 1/16th of the price on Black Friday. Maybe not as slick, but still has color pass thru, plays my spatial videos, has some impressive games, & mirrors my PC desktop, …and also doesn’t get used a ton.

Still a lot of unused potential. I actually use mine pretty regularly at the moment, but it's far from redefining reality. Much is on the shoulders of us developers without a proper foundation.

I really enjoy mine even if it’s often used as a mac display due to the lack of apps, the OS is less mac & more iPad. I agree about incentivising developers. I’d be happy to lose the film experience for a more glasses-like experience.
