EMU3000 are made by Hitachi, who DID made chunk of the Shinkansen, and it looks pretty similar to other semi-high speed model like Class 800(UK) and JR Kyushu 885 Series (JP) :)

Starting today’s Taipei journey on a Tze-Chiang Limited Express to Ruifang Station, operated on what feels like a brand new EMU3000 series.

Seating in regular class is 2-2 but it has big Shinkansen vibes. It’s actually nicer than Taiwan’s HSR (700T Shinkansen) since it has power outlets! #PaxEx
