I've been planning on picking up Warno. Felt like it's a good representation of a modern battle space without being nearly as overwhelming with CHOICE like the Wargame series can be.

Its pretty good. Airborne decks have great mouthfeel and are much more oriented around elite light infantry causing problems, unit traits are fun, and the divisions system gives good variety to nations, reducing the sameyness of playing them. Highly recommend
