Girls aren't separated from girls at a young age, so they don't view other girls as another species, mysterious and different, and they also aren't inculcated with the idea that girls and women are inferior. I am 0% surprised that separating boys from girls causes these kinds of problems.
I'm not going against what you said, but please elaborate if possible. How do men and women look at potential partners? (I'm genuinely curious to what the difference is)
