Occult directed by Koji Shiraishi, it’s a found footage style movie that I haven’t forgotten about since I first watched it. It’s so well made that it really feels like you’re a part of it, but the downside is that it’s kind of boring at times.
Hmm....Hard Target with Jean Claude Van Damme. I love it, but mostly in a nostalgia sense. I guarantee it sucks and it would not be well received as a recommendation.
My best guess for this without spending ages is "Perfect Blue" - it's good, but it can be a rough watch, and I'd generally recommend Paprika over it as it's more understandable/approachable.
Moonrise Kingdom. It's a weird af Wes Anderson movie that everyone I recommend it to has told me that they don't get it. but I think it's a beautiful, awkward coming-of-age story
Remember Me (2010). I love it with every fiber of my being and I don't feel bad for loving it. However, I also perfectly understand why that ending would really rub people the wrong way (even if I think it's perhaps misunderstood), so I seldomly try to get my friends to watch it.
Battle Los Angeles.
Came out at the perfect time in my life (teens) to feel tense and badass, as opposed to everyone else’s opinion of dumb and pointless
Not nearly as bad as the groupthink would have you believe, especially with content not in the theatrical cut. Still not good enough to be worth the 182 minute time investment.

Awful as a film but I'm glad it exists for the spectacle
