One author saw the 4 horsemen of the biblical Apocalypse (Revelation 6:2-) in some riders in the Parade of Men on the Garden of Earthly Delights.
The idea is tempting, but either not all 4 colors match, the number isn’t 4, or mounts are not all horses.
