Twitch is implementing a 100-hour storage limit for Highlights and Uploads starting April 19, 2025.

I guess that's why there was a clip update in Sep 2024 tho, probably for more storage. But 3rd party random clip generators can't play any clips post-Sep. The generated URLs of clips don't match the ones previously, & no one is patching the generators for the update and it makes me sad 🫠

I think you have to make an efuse account first, and then you can connect it to your Twitch!

i did manage to find one that works, at least a little bit? https://twitch-clips-player.pages.dev/ this thing. it's limited in customization, but it at least plays newer clips. i think. my testing has been limited.

they shouldn't have announced this change without some sort of batch downloader or export thing available. what a headache
