Both the Point Defiance Zoo Aquarium and the Seattle Aquarium have a couple of Belugas. Seattle Aquarium is difficult to get to because of all the construction next few years, Point Def. was remolded a few years back and open.

His name was Hvaldimir, he died Aug 2024 😭😓 He was suspected a spy (yes whales sadly get used as spies mostly by authoritarian Govs). He was apparently a jolly little fella and luckily got supported by volunteers, otherwise he likely wouldn't have survived that long

I once kayaked in Hudson Bay with Belugas all around. Curious, playful, gentle creatures. Swam around the kayaks, gently bumped the boats to get our attention. Popped up to look at us. This story of returning the phone does not surprise me at all!
