I know you already know this, but, make sure you have evacuation bags filled with necessities ready to grab & go, Mr. Laz. We’re all hoping your home stays safe and just so very sorry you’re all going through this. ❤️❤️❤️
Yep -- it was a really loooong night. I couldn't sleep with the wind howling & worrying about evacuating &/or losing power.
Teddy ~ I feel your exhaustion.
The winds have died down here. Hope it stays that way.
I'm just south of Wilshire near the West L.A. Veterans Administration and have a National Guard Armory across the street. I also have a bud with a lifetime supply of spinach. I'm good.
Yes, yesterday, and today were quite awful. I'm fine where I am, but family members evacuated and, at this point, we don't know yet if homes were effected. And to top it off, another member, unrelated to the fire thing, is in the hospital. So, it's been stressful.
I’m so very sorry for what is happening in L.A. and hoping you, your family and pets remain out of this. This is tragic and I have been through this myself in OR. Is your air quality horrible? My brother left his office in downtown L.A. and was relieved there was no smoke at his home in Riverside.
He's been really agitated -- and Sora has made a point of comforting him. We've kept him inside the past few days. This morning was his first trip into the backyard
