Which btw the only thing keeping me from completely jumping ship from X/twitter is the fact that this app’s algorithm doesn’t really promote growth imo? It’s incredibly easy for me to increase my following and my reach on there is great unfortunately. I hope someday I can say the same for this place - ThreadSky

I find it’s sort of the opposite for me. Even tho I have 700 followers on twitter, I get roughly the same amount of likes here? Sometimes way more here

I really do wish it were the same for me but I post the same thing at the same time on here as on twit and I’ve stayed stagnant with likes/new follows

I’m not trying to humble brag but I gen get about 100-200 new followers daily on twit and 1k likes per post typically so it’s hard to beat

I mean, not that I’d know, but it seems like utilizing alt text and hashtags to get into automated lists and aggregate content might be a good tactic?

Either way, I hope you’re able to thrive here eventually; the other place was getting too unbearable to even browse

You can make some of your photos and art exclusive to Bluesky and only post cropped versions on Twitter and say the full version is on your Bluesky account, Use hashtags, alt text, and other stuff to grow on Bluesky it’ll take a lot of work but eventually your Bluesky will be better than twitter
