So even if you believe we should abandon our dignity in order to appease Trump, you must concede we only do so in order to get something for it

And that's the point. Trump is not offering anything to Ukraine - not money, not weapons, not security guarantees, nothing.

Absolutely agree with you.. he was only to bully Zelensky into signing away the minerals deal with no securities.. and hand it all to Putin.. he was never to give more.. problem is the Starlink safelight which will be probably shut down .. or they leave it open for further negotiations
