Amen to that, brother! Before Grady's book, I was a mostly forgotten, ashamed-to-admit-it Zebra Horror hack. Paperbacks From Hell brought renewed respectability and visibility to a lot of mass market paperback authors and their work from the 1970s, 80s, and 90s, Ol' Ron included.

Would love to read a lengthy nonfiction piece exploring how Grady Hendrix's Paperbacks From Hell and the imprint from @valancourtbooks.bsky.social have created a genuinely new collector's market, and helped numerous largely forgotten authors and estates escape obscurity. We should celebrate that.
