I’m all for heavily regulating all matters of industry, but the profit incentive has no business in healthcare. The healthcare industry is considered an inelastic demand and a for profit model creates perverse incentive structures.

Sure on a philosophical basis. But who cares if we’re able to achieve a working system and I think the German and Swiss systems are very good.

Our system is also regulated. Market based system doesn’t mean unregulated or a completely free market.
