Because the original composer FAKED BEING DEAF and had contractors compose his music for 18 YEARS in secret!

He got busted by a reporter who never published their article and called out by another who couldn't get their article published in music magazines because his record label sponsored them.

His ghostwriter was the one to finally expose him because his music was about to be used in the olympics.

The RE music in hindsight though is what makes it obvious something was fishy when people went back and re-analyzed his work. There were huge jumps in quality.

I saw a big video expose on him a while back, forget who did it. I recall it went in deep on what pieces music was actually his, whether he could compose music at all, etc.

Feels like something Whang would have covered but I don't think it was him.
