Same, bad shoulder makes it tough to push past 20-30 reps. But you can try to step down and do them with your knees, moving the knees further back to increase difficulty. Proper form and full motion should still get you some benefits from the exercise
I've been told by multiple trainers, use a chair/bench/railing if full pushups are too hard. once you build up strength, progressively work your way to a lower object but keep maintaining your plank form!
