I want Biden, Obama, Bill Clinton, and MVP Harris to all speak up. Not because of skin color/gender, but because they are leaders. And because they love our country. π½π

Go talk to your family, friends, coworkers, etc, the whites that rejected those talented, outspoken, overqualified people for a rapist with 34 felonies.
Yes, they spoke, eloquently, about the danger of a T administration. Rather than talk to hopeless cases who are intransigent racists & sexists, I'm choosing to talk to those who stayed home but lean left or are in the center.
They did speak up, & beautifully. I don't expect anything but I do want to hear from former presidents & from Harris too. If they feel safe doing it. I'm glad to hear from Hillary. I think folks who didn't vote (19 million for Biden in 2020 who didn't vote!) & some T voters are more receptive now.
America heard from them since 2016 and white people continued to ignore them. They went into overload during the 2024 election and white people STILL ignored them. It's clear that white people don't wanna hear from them so find that voice elsewhere. Ask Bush.
19 million Biden voters didnt vote in 2024. That's messed up. Sexism, racism for sure. Economic issues prob more. I def think voters are more receptive now b/c T is beyond terrible. If Biden et al feel safe doing it, I'd like to hear from them. If they don't want to that's their right.
Newsflash, T voters knew who T was before 2024 and chose him anyway. That's not on any former President...that is solely on them and those who didn't vote or voted 3rd party. They should've listened before Nov 5.
Too late. We're dealing with a new set of circumstances. I'm for anything that will help. If former presidents can speak up safely, I'd like to hear what they have to say.
Fairly certain that nothing they say today will sound much different than what they said pre-election. White people β and it WAS white people β didnβt sufficiently heed their warnings then so why waste their breath now?
I don't expect any of them to speak up now. I do want it, as I think it could help. Whether to speak is their choice, and right. I still want to hear from them.
They all spoke, they were loud and clear. America chose not to listen. This is on the American electorate-do the work of grappling with THAT instead of babbling about what you imagine private citizens owe you, or anyone else.
Well, this is a rude response. They'd don't owe me anything. As if. I want them to speak up to help all of us. It's their choice, obviously. We're all on this together and their voices can help us all in the fight to preserve democracy.
They did that for 8 fucking years. They did their jobs. What have YOU done besides demand from others on social media? Get up and go. The people are who has to stop it now
You don't know me. I am doing the work. More to come. I don't expect anything from them. I do want to hear their voices. It's their choice, and right, whether to speak.
Sure it does. I don't expect anything though. If they choose not to speak up, that's their right. I hope they feel safe enough and moved to speak up though.
I remember when people found out where MItch McConnell was having dinner and shamed him into leaving. Repubs shouldn't be able to go out in public without being yelled at, it's GREAT!!!
Doesn't matter. The situation has changed. Many in the electorate are more receptive to the truth now. Whether they speak up is these folks' choice, and right. I still hope they feel safe enough and moved to speak up.
Welp, everyone is getting exactly what they voted for. His supporters- and people who voted third party or stayed home have no one to blame but themselves.
MVP Harris told voters that all of this would happen. 77 million chose to vote for it anyway, and another 90 million couldnβt be bothered. Why should she speak now when she thoroughly said her piece when it could have changed the countryβs course?
I think those who stayed home or even, horribly, voted for T are more willing to listen now. And Harris is a powerful speaker. She'll do what she wants, of course. I hope she chooses to speak again.
His approval ratings are reported at 48%, and itβs easy to find social media supporters who are happy with what heβs doing. So I wish I were as sanguine as you but I donβt see the evidence.
Itβs also not like MVP is in hiding. Sheβs been helping her local community and has been filmed giving encouraging words and even speeches to people she meets. Anyone who truly wants to listen to her, can.
I absolutely applaud her for this. I've been wanting to ind and listen to her acceptance speech at the BET Awards this year. Very interested to hear what she has to say. π½π
Ok, great, off to a good start. This is all their fault; not Obamaβs Bidenβs or Harris.
If you really want to βresistβ, never speak to them again.

Before 11/5/2024.
You didnβt hear them.
Do your own dirty work.
Go talk to your family, friends, coworkers, etc, the whites that rejected those talented, outspoken, overqualified people for a rapist with 34 felonies.
In light of who the electorate explicitly chose instead, Hillary and Kamala both have every right to feel nothing but contempt for us.
The fact that they do not shows how classy they are. We are unworthy of either.
Stop.
What you want doesnβt matter.
Voters had their say.
Now is too late.
