For example I love Bernie but he paints all capitalism as bad. It isn’t. There are moral companies even in the Fortune 500. Plus hundreds of thousands of small businesses with moral owners not hell bent on eliminating competition.
I know many small businesses that cooperate. Many cities have a tap trail to encourage folks to visit ALL the breweries.
In my town there are four coffee shops in less than 1mi square. Starbucks is a half mile away. Each fill a niche, not zero sum.
What do you propose? I’ve spent 2.5 years on the startup board of a food co-op, and also chair a community land trust.
Finding people to lead is nigh impossible.
Cooperation is great in theory, but good luck w/ employee owned biz if ppl don’t even vote!

If you want to say power and money have the same basic effects on people regardless of political ideology then say that.

The problem is they they’re both right wing capitalist ideologies that enable and eventually require fascism to be exist.
They split the difference between a republic and a monarchy, wanting the monarchy to set the agenda and parliament to provide minimal oversight.
The rich/powerful rule and the poor/weak are to obey without question.

If you make clear you're talking about economic liberalism then sure, but if you contrast it with Conservatism, like OP did, it obviously means "Individual freedoms and equality" - and not capitalism.

Authoritarian liberals, like the Coomunists in the USSR or Cuba are bad (terrible). But it seems to be the authoritarianism, not being "left" that you are pointing to.
