I just watched 1985 film, “Revolution” with Al Pacino, Donald Sutherland. Today’s current political climate and the years spent fighting the British in 1770s underline the incredible parallels between then and now:
King George = Trump
English parliament =congress
English sympathizers = MAGA! 🧌
Dems didn't reach out to the right. Zero outreach to straight men, they lost them. Biden ignored voters, no one bothered to talk to people they were too busy listening to experts & eachother. When we said we weren't doing good they said we were wrong.

I don't understand what Trump promised his voters that even compared with what the Democrats offered?
Why were they fooled by Trump? Was it really all about the cost of eggs?
That's why they gave up
everything else?
I really am curious.
The Trump phenomenon will be studied for the next century. It's not due to one thing but rather many influences. This lecture helped me after his first victory.
