I can actually relate to the private school better than the golf course, being that my parents had to work two jobs each to put my sister and I through an affordable private school. Teachers often taught multiple courses or played multiple roles and still made next to nothing.

That place wasn't like the upscale charter schools that the rich kids went to... the ones that actually get the vouchers. Fact was, since my parents were still paying school tax, they would be paying for those rich kids too if vouchers were a thing back then.

I'm all for private schools. However, the money that goes into vouchers should be used to help fix the public schools who need it the most, not the Academies and charter schools, where the parents' biggest problems are their HOA-dictated grass height limits or going over their BMW's lease mileage .

You don’t like to take your dog to the public dog park. The government gives you money to make your own dog park in your backyard. Now they can’t pay to fix the park 100s of dogs use and it gets closed. That’s vouchers.
