We're trying out a few taglines and we'd love your opinion - which of these do you think best describes what we do here at mySociety? Poll in the comments. Please feel free to share for wider reach! Thanks!

Honestly? They all sound a bit wanky. Sincerest apologies, but there's something straightforward about MySoc that demands non-advertising-speke.
"Civic engagement"
"Making your voice heard"
"Simplify engagement"
"Enabling your voice"
Actually, that last one (of mine)'s also bollocks for sim reasons!
Voted for 3. Might have picked 1 if it didn't have a full-stop in the middle, which makes me read it in a car ad voiceover. I can see how 1 may be more specific to you.
One of our concerns is that 'civic engagement' is well understood in our own peer circles, but less understood as a concept beyond them. While understanding that you can't go into much depth under a logo, there's an attempt to use everyday language!
Hang on! I am the person on the omnibus in question and I want to use MySociety's tools such as TheyWorkForYou. (I voted Option B because I think Option A is unexciting, actually.)
That's part of the issue, we have so many audiences. We want to work with other orgs yes - but we also want to attract the man on the bus to use our sites. At one point we considered two different taglines, one for each type of audience...
Yes, I get that. Having facilitated a few civic assemblies the gap of profession language and citizen understanding is big. I think the only thing that really came out is that treating people seriously and their problem as serious made them more involved. Be direct, truthful, serious

The other three are so generic as to be meaningless.
The man on the Clapham Omnibus isn't going to be your customer, I presume. The organisations you want to work with know what "Civic Engagement" means.
