In my almost 26 years working for the DoD my husband and I have had a talk about what actions the government had to take for us to quit because we could not morally keep our oath of office and do our jobs helping the sailors and abide by the decisions being made 3 or 4 times. 1/2

Yaaaas!!! OPM has info about this & someone linked to the law a few weeks ago in my feed. It’s something like 1 week of pay for every year of service for the first 10 years, then 2 weeks for every year after that. There’s some sort of plus up if you’re over 40 as well. Max is 1 year salary.

The Army lowered their standards under Trump’s first regime, if I recall correctly. Didn’t work out as planned because he doesn’t understand how shit works and now it’s even worse. This is why it’s even more important now

If your agency follows the rules, you may be able to estimate your odds of being RIF’ed. Your job series will have something to with it too. If you are in a career field that is difficult to fill, and/or one that has to “grow their own”, you may be more insulted.
