F is for Fennerogalathea.
3 species of these squat lobsters, part of false crabs (Anomura), were described from 120-320m deep (some hanging out in corals) in the south Pacific. The genus is named for Fenner Chace, who collected crab specimens I've studied at MCZ!

For false so far, we've had 2 squat lobsters, Aegla and Fennerogalathea (but Aegla is closer to the skinny one and Fennerogalathea the fat purple one, in my figure). We also had Birgus, a hermit crab. And Echidnocerus, a king crab like the one at bottom
Further in the month there will be more true crabs
