More reports of a 'gas shortage' with no mention of the massive amounts of exports. 🙄

Royalties are not taxes. They are payment for gas that the extractors do not own, to those who do own the gas (residents of the state it’s extracted from).
Not that gas companies pay much actual tax on their profits anyway 🤬
It’s only a problem for someone else and it’s a boon to some.. approx 1%.
