I think that the problem you have been trying to scare people for years, it losing its creditability. Maybe start focusing on the outcomes like increases in insurance and weather etc .

Correct. We know, based on experience+evidence that if the public is adequately informed of a threat then realistic fear grows+mobilises public support for strong+swift govt intervention/funding for action to manage the threat. Instead, Duopoly prefers to manage public perception+downplay the threat
